01What does RunPR actually do?+
RunPR runs the PR outreach workflow in one dashboard: monitor topics, competitors, and beats across the full Google News and GDELT indexes (4,100+ distinct sources tracked so far), rank matched reporters against your pitch angle with bylines re-verified on a schedule, write pitches grounded in the reporter's recent bylines, route approvals, send from your own domain, and track delivery, opens, and bounces on everything you send.
02Can I use RunPR without OCA?+
Yes. RunPR is the software product. OCA is optional for teams that want hands-on pitch-writing throughput, pitch review, and send execution running inside the same dashboard.
03Who is RunPR built for?+
PR agencies, in-house PR teams, and solo consultants are the clearest fit. RunPR is strongest for teams that need pitchable news, fit-ranked reporters, drafts, approvals, verified sending, and delivery tracking tied to the same story.
04What does OCA do if I add it?+
OCA adds Embargo Industries operators on top of RunPR. They help with strategy, pitch-writing throughput, pitch review, workflow tuning, and approved send execution inside the same dashboard, so every artifact, decision, and send stays in one place.
05How does pricing work?+
Solo is $149/month, Studio is $599/month, and Agency is $1499/month. Pricing is per client Account, and seats are unlimited on every plan. OCA is a managed/operator add-on that starts at $2,000/month.
06How many AI-written pitches do I get?+
Solo includes 250 pitches a month, Studio 750, and Agency 1,500. If a launch or crisis month pushes you past the allowance, a 500-pitch pack is $399 and applies to that month. A pitch only counts when RunPR actually writes it. Reporters it screens out and decides not to pitch cost you nothing.
07Can my team review everything before it goes out?+
Yes. Nothing goes out without you. Every draft waits for human approval. You can approve, reject, or send back with a note, and every decision is logged to the pitch artifact.
08Can RunPR send from my domain?+
Yes. Add your domain in the dashboard and RunPR provisions SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for you. Sent threads stay linked to the originating story, journalist, and approval decision.
09What does RunPR track after a pitch goes out?+
Delivery, opens, and bounces, per journalist, tied back to the originating story and approval decision. Reply capture is not shipped yet, so replies still land in your own inbox. Coverage outcomes stay linked to the story that produced them.
10Is RunPR just a media database?+
No. Reporter discovery matters, but RunPR is built around the execution workflow. It monitors the news, ranks reporters by fit, writes the pitch, routes approval, sends from your domain, and tracks delivery, opens, and coverage against the originating story.
11What is AI Visibility tracking?+
AI Visibility tracks how your brand shows up in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Exa, and Grok. Each scan reports brand mention rate, citation rate, founder mention rate, competitors cited against you, and every losing query where your brand is missing. RunPR also writes outreach to cited sources and puts those pitches into your pitch queue.
12How is AI Visibility different from SEO?+
SEO ranks you in Google. AI Visibility tracks whether you appear in the AI answers people actually read now, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Exa, and Grok. Different surface, different optimization. The fix is usually getting cited in the sources LLMs reach for, not chasing keywords.
13How often are AI Visibility scans run?+
Solo scans 2 brands every 14 days. Studio scans up to 7 brands weekly. Agency scans all 15 brands weekly, with priority brands bursting to every 3 days. Standard scans run across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Exa; deep scans add Claude, Gemini, and Grok for a full six-engine read, with a monthly deep-scan allowance on each plan. All plans can expand with packs: 20 standard scans for $299 or 10 deep scans for $399.
